When do all these lying politicians get held accountable, From President Barack Obama promising tax cuts for 90 percent of americans,  Speaker Nancy Pelosi who lies to congress about not being informed of waterboarding , Homeland security Janet Napolitano says we should monitor our american heroes when they return from the war for terrorist activities or when she says terrorists are coming in from Canada,then she goes to Canada says she Misspoke or when Vice president Joe Biden says we should avoid airports and train stations in fear of catching swine flu and the press secretary Robert Gibbs who claims the V.P. didn't mean to say that as if Gibbs can explain what he even means about anything.Congressman Charles Rangel yet another democrat who heads commitee to write the tax laws who has evaded taxes himself. This is to just name a few. The Blatant disrespect for the law or the American people themselves is disgusting. 80 percent of these politicians are Self serving and they all need to be voted out of office including Senator John Mccain anybody in office for all these years and doesn't know what Google is cannot represent this Country. Senator Ted Kennedy well what can we say Never did anything but rode the coattails of his name.

Lets face it we have a president who has absolutely no experience whatsoever but i'm reminded of how intelligent he is,I beg to differ ive heard him speak without a teleprompter Not impressed, By the way Jimmy Carter was an intelligent man look what he gave us  11% unemployment ,20% percent interest rates, Inflation, hostages in Iran But he was a smart man  What a Joke.

My family grew up under a registered democrat mother and father in a low income environment whose father worked for the  federal government whose  father voted against President Ronald Reagan  the first time , after four years under Reagan my father began to realize that the democrat party of today was not the democrats of J.F.K. and started to realize that we should aspire to be independent of government and later voted for President Ronald Reagan, till this day my father has never looked back and has voted Republican 90 percent of the time.

Interesting story as my Father continued to work for the federal government under President Clinton he uncovered  millions of dollars wasted by the federal government who were sending payments to people who were not entitled, Dead people, People in prison, illegal aliens and so forth when this was brought to the attention of supervisors they said they would take care of it im sure it was quite an expensive rug they hid this under, so when they say that more government needs to be in our lives I cringe and hold on to my wallet.

My prediction is President Barack Obama will continue to blame the past administration although he better watch out Vice President Dick Cheney is no slouch and will put obama in his place.The president will be engaged militarily with North Korea and to a degree with Iran because of obvious reasons,unemployment will reach double digits because of the excessive stimulus and higher taxes, interest  rates will creep up to at least 7%, The stock market will test the new lows at least 1 more time, More banks will go under and foreclosures will increase because the money from tarp was not tied to the banks to lend the money for example PNC bank purchased national city with the money . Crime will go up nationally because of abandoned homes and companies being forced to lay people off because of the increase in taxes.

The only thing we have too look forward to is in 4 years.

Misspoke or just plain LYING.

(AP) - U.S. Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano wanted to make it clear to Canada on Wednesday that she knows she misspoke when she erroneously said that the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists entered the United States through Canada.

Napolitano, on her first trip to Canada since joining President Barack Obama's Cabinet in January, was discussing security issues with Canadian Minister of Public Safety Peter Van Loan. Napolitano was trying to get past the diplomatic gaffe after an interview last month with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. in which she said—incorrectly—that the Sept. 11 terrorists crossed into the U.S. from Canada. The comments caused an uproar in America's neighbor to the north.

The Sept. 11 commission found that none came through Canada. But other extremists have, such as the would-be millennium bomber Ahmed Ressam, an Algerian convicted on multiple counts for plotting to bomb Los Angeles International Airport around Jan. 1, 2000.

"We know, and I know, that 9-11 terrorists did not cross the Canadian border. I regret that the Canadian media only seems to hear that earlier misstatement by me to that effect," Napolitano said at a brief news conference, adding that she wants to move on.

"So let me be perfectly clear: We know that. But what they also need to hear, and what you need to hear from me, are all the things we are doing with Canada, and will continue to do with Canada, to further our joint security because we share the same interests."

Other U.S. politicians have also claimed that the Sept. 11 terrorists entered the U.S. through Canada, a myth the Canadian government continues to try to dispel.

Van Loan said Canada has accepted Napolitano's correction and "moved on."

Opposition Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff said in Washington last month that he thought Napolitano was seriously ill-informed about the border. Napolitano has also said that Canada "lets people into its country that we don't allow into ours."

Van Loan said Wednesday that Canadians should realize that there have been homegrown terrorism plots in Canada and pointed to two recent convictions. "I do caution people that they would be naive to think that those threats of terrorism are behind us."

On Tuesday, Napolitano and Van Loan announced an agreement in Detroit to allow law enforcement authorities of both nations to share personnel and cross the border more easily to fight human, drug and weapon smuggling on waterways that separate them.

The agreement allows officers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and U.S. Coast Guard to ride each others' vessels for joint patrols and specific enforcement operations.

The move came as new border-crossing rules are to take effect Monday, requiring everyone coming into the U.S. from Canada to have passports or special driver's licenses.

Sen. Reid botches 3 subjects at news conference

WASHINGTON (AP) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid became the latest Democrat to stray into rhetorical trouble Tuesday, botching statements on three subjects in one news conference - including the fragile health of the chamber's most senior members. The Nevada Democrat reported that one of them, Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., was absent because he was receiving a new round of treatment for his brain cancer. Asked if the cancer was in remission, Reid replied, "As far as I know, it is, yes."

Kennedy's office refused to confirm Reid's comments or make any statement in response, the public silence a classic Washington disavowal.

Reid was then asked about Sen. Robert C. Byrd, at 91 the longest-serving senator in history, who was hospitalized over the weekend for an infection. Reid reported that Byrd was to be released from the hospital Tuesday or perhaps later in the week.

Not exactly.

"Senator Byrd is improving," responded his spokesman, Jesse Jacobs. "But his doctors, in consultation with his family, have not yet determined when he will be released."

Reid also mangled his party's position on the congressional news of the day, that Senate Democrats would join their House counterparts in withholding the money President Barack Obama needs to close the Guantanamo Bay prison until Obama comes up with a plan for relocating its prisoners.

But Reid went further than saying he wanted to see a plan for the money before Congress approves it. "We will never allow terrorists to be released into the United States," he said.

No one, of course, was talking about releasing terrorism suspects among the American populace. Imprisoning them, perhaps, but not releasing them.

"Part of what we don't want is them be put in prisons in the United States," Reid clarified but digging himself into a bigger hole by departing significantly from some of his colleagues and administration officials. "We don't want them around the United States."

Did the administration put Democrats in an awkward position, asking for the money before setting out how it would be spent?

"Not at all," said Reid.

"Yes," his deputy, Sen. Dick Durbin replied to the same question.

Even the post-gaffe handling of Reid's remarks was awkward. Spokesman Jim Manley, who previously worked for Kennedy for years, swept through the press gallery to clean up after his boss. He retracted Reid's assessment of Kennedy's condition. He clarified Reid's comments about the Guantanamo Bay prison.

Manley's job was no fun at that moment, a reporter observed.

"Not so much," he said.

Kennedy was diagnosed a year ago with incurable brain cancer and has undergone multiple treatments that wouldn't likely be necessary were the disease in remission. He has nonetheless been working behind the scenes on a sweeping health care reform bill that is one of Obama's top priorities.

Byrd, meanwhile, has survived several rounds of rumors about his deteriorating health. He has relished rebutting them with cutting statements or just by showing up on the Senate floor to vote.

It's not the first time Reid has walked into a wall of trouble for commenting on a colleague's medical condition. Who's voting and who's not is crucial in a chamber where 60 votes can shut down filibusters.

Reid also spun positive when discussing the health of South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson after the Democrat suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage in December 2006, threatening his party's incoming one-seat majority.

In May 2008, after Johnson had returned to the Senate needing a wheelchair, Reid revealed the rest of the picture. He told Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," that Johnson had been "in a coma for five weeks, near death three or four times during that period of time."

On Tuesday, Reid's world continued to spin, with ample backpedaling.

"Senator Reid will leave the diagnosing to doctors," Manley said late in the day. "But he does look forward to the prospect of Senator Kennedy's return to the Senate as soon as he is able."

Manley also issued a statement with which no one could quibble.

"Tomorrow is another day."

1. Biden Reveals Location of Secret 'Undisclosed Location'

Vice President Joe Biden has done it again.

Biden, who has a history of verbal blunders, has revealed the existence of a secret bunker intended to house the vice president in case of a national emergency or attack.

According to Newsweek magazine's Eleanor Clift, Biden let the secret slip at the recent Gridiron Club dinner, and annual event attended by media members and high-power politicians. Clift reports that Biden admitted to those at his table that the bunker is located beneath the vice president's official residence, located at the U.S. Naval Observatory near Washington, D.C.

It is likely that former Vice President Dick Cheney was hidden in the bunker - referred to as an "undisclosed location" - in the confusing aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

Newsweek's story asserts that Biden "said a young naval officer giving him a tour of the residence showed him the hideaway, which is behind a massive steel door secured by an elaborate lock with a narrow connecting hallway lined with shelves filled with communications equipment.

"The officer explained that when Cheney was in lock down, this was where his most trusted aides were stationed, an image that Biden conveyed in a way that suggested we shouldn't be surprised that the policies that emerged were off the wall."

This is hardly the first time Biden has raised eyebrows with an off-the-cuff remark. Most recently, he was criticized for encouraging Americans to avoid airline travel during the swine flu scare

Three things are now clear about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent comments about what she knew and when she knew it concerning the CIA’s use of  Enhanced Interrogation Techniques (EITs), including water-boarding:

 

First, it is no longer possible to doubt that Pelosi knew as of September 4, 2002 that the CIA included water-boarding among its tools for interrogating high-value terrorists like al Qaeda operative Abu Zubaydah. She knew this because, according to then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Porter Goss, R-FL, he and Pelosi received a detailed classified briefing from the agency. It is equally clear that, according to The Washington Post, her senior staff advisor on these issues knew about the use of water-boarding as a result of a briefing he received not long afterward, along with Rep. Jane Harman, D-CA, who succeeded Pelosi as ranking minority member on the intelligence panel in January 2003. Harman objected to the use of water-boarding as a result of that briefing and Pelosi seconded Harman’s objection. Further, in the months following the Sept. 4, 2002, meeting with Goss and Pelosi, the CIA conducted 39 more similar briefings of Senate and House members from both parties on the issue. In view of these facts, Pelosi’s April 23, 2009, claim that “we were not - I repeat - were not told that water-boarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used” was untrue and she knew it to be untrue.

 

Second, there are additional documents in CIA and congressional records that will remove any remaining doubt that Pelosi knew water-boarding and other EITs were being used and that further deadly terrorist attacks were thereby prevented from taking place in this country. A CIA spokesman confirmed to CNSnews.com, for example, the May 30, 2005, Justice Department memo describing how the “second wave” attack on Los Angeles was unraveled. Since President Barack Obama has already damaged national security by making public Justice Department legal memoranda to the CIA on water-boarding, no further damage will result from making public these additional documents concerning what Pelosi and other members of Congress were told and when. Such a release will end Pelosi’s nonsensical claim that she was told about the EITs but not their use.

 

Finally, the vast majority of Americans know the nation must first be preserved if the Constitution is to be protected. As Thomas Jefferson said, “to lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to the written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means." Do House Democrats wish to be represented by a Speaker who most certainly does not concur in this most basic truth, and who has lied to America about her conduct in office?

Obama Faces More Questions on Citizenship

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama?s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama?s college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.  The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama?s detractors have been seeking.

 

The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama?s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration?s efforts to move the country in a new direction.

 

Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned”, leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama?s first official visit to the U.K.

 

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama?s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio?s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama?s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

 

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama?s campaign spending.  This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records.    Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.   Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

WASHINGTON (May 8) – A top White House aide resigned Friday for his role in Air Force One's $328,835 photo-op flyover above New York City that sparked panic and flashbacks to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Louis Caldera said the controversy had made it impossible for him to effectively lead the White House Military Office.

"Moreover, it has become a distraction in the important work you are doing as president," Caldera said in his resignation letter to President Barack Obama.

More than a week after Air Force One and an F-16 fighter jet flew above New York City, the White House aide whose office approved this $328,835 photo-op resigned. Louis Caldera, who headed the White House Military Office, said Friday that the controversy "has become a distraction" for President Barack Obama. The sight of the huge passenger jet and an F-16 fighter plane flying past the Statue of Liberty and the lower Manhattan financial district sent panicked office workers streaming into the streets on April 27. Obama said it would not happen again.

Caldera's office approved the photo-op, which cost $35,000 in fuel alone for the plane and two jet fighter escorts. The Air Force estimated the photo shoot cost taxpayers $328,835.

White House officials said the flight was designed to update the official photo of the plane, known as Air Force One when the president is aboard. The White House released a photo of the blue-and-white plane high above the Statue of Liberty, with New Jersey in the background.

The White House released the report late Friday afternoon via e-mail, with a short written statement from White House press secretary Robert Gibbs. There was no statement about the matter from Obama, who last month declared the embarrassment a "mistake" and vowed it would not be repeated.

Gibbs said Obama has ordered a review of how the White House Military Office is set up, and how it reports to the White House and the Air Force.

That review, to be conducted by Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, will also offer recommendations to Obama designed to ensure that such an incident will not happen again, Gibbs said.

Caldera, a former Army secretary, has headed the office that coordinates presidential travel on Air Force jets.

When Obama appointed Caldera to the job during the presidential transition, the then president-elect hailed Caldera as having a resume that was second-to-none. Obama said then: "I know he'll bring to the White House the same dedication and integrity that have earned him the highest praise in every post."

His resignation takes effect May 22, but he is done at the White House Military Office now — not just as director, but in any part of the office's work. He said he will use the two weeks of his employment to complete the necessary steps to leave the White House.
